Local Idaho Veteran Meet Up - **TUBING NIGHT** Gateway Parks, Eagle Island, ID

Calling all veterans! Bring your families for a day of family tubing fun! We will be offering burgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks! Bring your own chairs and get ready to eat and mingle with others!

Here are a few items Gateway Parks would like to point out before your visit to the hill;

• This is an outdoor activity! Please be prepared by dressing accordingly. We recommend:
• Jacket and warm layers. We do not close due to rain or snow; if it is raining, please bring appropriate layers.
• Snow pants. While you will not be touching the snow, tubes can be wet and cold.
• Snow boots. The magic carpet will take you to the top of the hill, but you will still have to walk through some snow. Shoes should have adequate tread to prevent slip and falls.
• Gloves/Hats. During cold weather, hats and gloves are recommended to keep you warm. Please keep track of your belongings if you remove them.
• Gateway Parks provides tubes for everyone in your group.
• Fresh cooked food, desserts, snacks and beverages are available for purchase at the food kiosk.
• There is covered seating for everyone in your group including a fire pit for extra heat. We welcome you to bring additional friends and family to enjoy the seating area, even if they are not participating in tubing, skiing or snowboarding!
• Children two and under are free and do not require a reservation. If you accidentally purchased a ticket for a person 2 or under, please reach out to us immediately.
• Please leave valuables like jewelry, IDs, credit cards, phones at home or safely locked away. If you must bring them onto the hill, please ensure they are properly secured in a zippered pocket. Gateway Parks attempts to reunite all lost items with their rightful owner, but is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
• Most important of all: Be ready to have a great time tubing with your family, friends and co-workers!
